About Denise
Denise grew up in Mid-Coast Maine, where the meeting of the suburban and the natural inspired their writing. Denise got their B.A. in English and Anthropology from the University of Maine in Orono. Shortly after graduating, they moved to Boise, Idaho to pursue their M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Boise State University. They graduated with honors in 2016, and have since worked as a freelance writer, editor, and social media manager.
